The NV Meadow Chunky Eyeshdaow Crayon* is a retractable twist up eyeshadow crayon that can be worn on it's own or as a 'base' for applying glitter or other shadows over the top. When NV got in touch with me and asked me if I wanted to try a few things from their range, I chose the crayon as I have a soft spot for green eyes and am looking for more ways to experiment.

As honesty is the only policy on My Pale Skin - I have to say that I was a little disappointed with this eye shadow crayon and expected slightly more from it. Although it has a beautiful colour, I found the quality left a little to be desired with crayon itself rattled around in the casing and after a few days, the crayon did actually fall straight out of the casing.

I tested the shadow out over a 2 day period once using the crayon over a neutral eyeshadow, and once straight onto the lid.I found the eyeshadow sadly creased both times. I'm not one for overly negative reviews, but as an honest blogger I find it necessary to point both of those things out.

Have you tried anything from NV Colour before?

The 'New' Brand: NV Colour - Mini Haul!

Every so often an email lands in my inbox from a brand I've never tried or heard of before. Often when these things come in, I turn them down as I don't have the time, or patience to test out and review every product that comes my way. It's not that I don't want to, it's just that I don't want My Pale Skin to be a cosmetic focus group, you guys deserve better than that! So I try to choose carefully.

I'm not sure what it was about NV Colour cosmetics that won me over. It may have been the pretty packaging or even the fact that the Pixiwoo sisters are rocking the products on the front of the website... but NV Colour won me over.and I'm on a mission to test out a broad range of their products, so i've chosen 3 basic everyday products and I'll be sharing  my thoughts on them over the next few weeks. I chose the Fever lipstick* which is an on trend Berry lipstick. The NV Bronzer in Fair* so we can really see how their 'light//fair' skin products actually work on pale skin.
Finally I chose an NV Cosmetics Chunky Eye Crayon* in Meadow as I really liked the idea of a green gold eyeshadow stick.

So those are the three products which took my eye from this brand, and I look forward to testing them out for you. Have you tried any NV Colour products before? Leave me your lnk in the comments!
