MAC x Cinderella Collection Announcement.

NYX are a brand which don't seem to get much love over here in the UK as they're quite difficult to get your hands on. The only place to buy them in store are selected NEXT stores, and I'm sad to say that every time i've paid a visit to a store which stocks NYX, the stand has been in a terrible unloved state. However, I was lucky to have come across a stand which was in a much happier condition at the Olympia Beauty Trade Show.

This week MAC Cosmetics announced that they are releasing a Cinderella inspired collection which will be hitting stores in March and I cannot explain how excited I am about this.

As a Child (and partly now) I had a huge obsession with Cinderella. I have a very vivid memory of when I was around 8 years old, playing in the garden and wishing to be an adult so I could legally change my name to Cinderella. I slept with a poster of her above my bed and growing up I always dreamed of a Cinderella inspired pale blue wedding dress.

From the publicity image, I'd expect cute crystal inspired packaging, maybe some icy blue eyeshadow or even a silver glitter eyeliner. I'm hoping to see girly products, certainly a light pink lipstick and a pale pink blush, but i'm definitely looking forward to being surprised with what MAC releases. I have a feeling I'm going to be buying every product on release day...
